Haden Kirkpatrick - Experienced Leader in the Insurance Industry
Haden Kirkpatrick, the former vice president of strategy, innovation, and venture capital at State Farm, oversaw the turnaround of three subsidiaries: Venture Capital Units, Quanata, and HiRoad Assurance Company. Haden Kirkpatrick has over 15 years of management and leadership experience, including a decade in the insurance industry. He is skilled at brand strategy, revenue growth, digital transformation, and strategic change management, among other skills.
During his tenure at State Farm, Mr. Kirkpatrick oversaw the transformation of the leadership team, investment strategy, and operational model. He proposed an aggressive investment strategy that delivered increased return on capital for new investments and lower operational costs. Further, he led an innovation group in establishing a new business unit and expanding the range of insurance products to the digital economy, thereby achieving a competitive advantage.
Before his most recent role, Haden Kirkpatrick was the vice president of Strategy, Innovation, and Product at Esurance. His prior experience includes management roles at technology and telecommunications companies Amdocs and MobiPCS.
Mr. Kirkpatrick earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Indiana University. He completed executive programs in strategic management, sales management, and general management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
